TU-8185 is a compact vacuum tube amplifier with triode-power pentode tube ECL85. Kit includes ECL805E x 2 pcs, a highly reliable version of ECL85.
Description
A compact body with a headphone jack on the front panel – you can enjoy its large scale sound not only from speakers but also from headphones / earphones. It is a successor of TU-8100 model with slight improvements and black chassis. Amp utilize well known ECL85 (6GV8) tubes which offers real “tube sound”. It is equipped with two inputs – RCA and stereo mini jack at back so it can be used with your standard audio source as well as with mobile phone or portable music player. Additionaly an USB-DAC module PS-3249R (sold separately) can be mounted inside, which enables connecting the amp to a digital source like your PC via USB. Headphones output at the front panel gives you possibility to enjoy music not only from speakers. You can use headphones with impedance between 8 to 600 ohm with jumpers-selectable output level.
Paired with high quality loudspeakers, this amp is ideal as an office desk sound amplifier. It is small but powerful, gives high quality sound and looks perfectly. And you can build it yourself! If you do not have a soldering iron but would like to enjoy your ears with such an amplifier, we offer an assembly service.
