Description

The EL34 and EL34 II from JJ Electronic are both high-quality power pentode tubes designed for use in audio and guitar amplifiers. While they share similar electrical characteristics and applications, their structural design and tonal differences make them suited for different types of amplifiers and playing styles.

The EL34 features a traditional internal structure optimized for a balanced performance across various circuits. It produces the classic British-style tone, characterized by a warm midrange, tight bass, and smooth high-end response. This tube is known for its dynamic and expressive overdrive, delivering a well-defined breakup when pushed hard. It has a higher gain potential, making it ideal for vintage rock and blues tones where harmonic richness and touch sensitivity are essential.
